Our Skills Recognition Consultant can assist you with the following free services:

• Access to the Skills Gateway Vocational Guidance package, Career Voyage
• Free profile reports generated via Competency Navigator
• Identification of 20-40 careers relevant to your interests and circumstances via Career Voyage
  

Access to resources to assist you in making an informed decision regarding to future career pathway covering areas such as:

• Job descriptions
• The identification of areas of specialisation within an area of employment
• Peak industry bodies
• Identification of qualifications and training required to enter a particular career
• Details of the content of any training or qualifications required
• Assistance in identifying opportunities for skills recognition within a required qualification
• Statistical information regarding careers, such as employment trends, future prospects, rates of pay

Where can I access this free service?
This service is available from any GippsTAFE Campus location. It is also available on-site in the workplace. Group sessions can be arranged.

Duration of appointment:
Approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. It is also suggested that each client continues to undertake some research in their own time.
