All GippsTAFE VETiS Programs can contribute to Foundation and Intermediate VCAL. GippsTAFE subjects at a Certificate III level can contribute to a Senior VCAL qualification.

VETiS satisfies the eligibility requirement of the Industry Specific Skills and Work Related Skills strands with the VCAL.

A credit towards VCAL is awarded upon successful completion of approximately 100 hours of nominal hours of units of competency when it is taken from an accredited curriculum.*

A VCAL student will not receive credit towards their VCAL for partially completed units of competence or for units of competence that they have not been deemed successful in completing.
