Course Overview

If you work more than two metres above or below the ground, you need to know how to prevent a fall in your workplace. This training is an OH&S prerequisite for these workers, regardless of their industry and covers the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and Occupational Health and Safety regulations 2007.

What you will learn
In this course you will learn about:
  • Legislation, regulations of Australian Standards
  • Dynamics of falls
  • Suspension trauma
  • Basic fall arrest systems
  • Setting up of restraint lines
  • Safe Work Method Statement for falls prevention safety.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon completion of this course students will receive a Statement of Participation.
