Course Overview

This course is for people required to disconnect and reconnect electrical appliances and intend to sit for the Energy Safe Victoria D examination (formerly S license).

Is this course right for me?

This course is designed for people in trades allied to the electrical trade. These include refrigeration, plumbing, instrumentation and electronic security. It is suitable for people who are required to disconnect and reconnect electrical appliances as part of their normal maintenance duties.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon completion of this course students will receive a Statement of Participation.

Entry Requirements

You must be able to demonstrate a need for the licence. Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) has stringent guidelines on determining participant eligibility to apply for this licence. It is highly recommended that you contact the ESV-compliance department on 1800 815 721 prior to enrolling in this course.

Assessment

On the final day a one hour theory and practical license examination is conducted by the institute's restricted licence class D/R examiner.
