Course Overview

Do you need to understand medical terminology for your job or would you like to understand it so you can work in a medical environment? This course is for non-medical personnel employed (or seeking employment) in medical or hospital offices or other health related fields and students. You will learn how to interpret and apply medical terminology appropriately and correctly.

Upon completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.

Assessment is by written assignments and online quizzes. Tasks focus on problem solving rather than the need to memorise lists of medical terms. Students are required to demonstrate the correct pronunciation of medical terms in some tasks.
