Course Overview
This course applies to workers providing services to clients in relation to the mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs issues.
Participants may be required to physically attend a GippsTAFE campus for Weekend Workshops which will only be held once per term (does not relate to every participant).
This course has been specifically designed as an addition to the Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), and will provide participants with a dual AOD and MH qualification.

Online Requirements
Participants will need access to a computer and an internet connection (broadband is preferred) and a headset (with a microphone) to attend online classes.
You will need the internet to access GippsTAFE Online (Moodle) and 'Elluminate', a virtual conferencing tool.
Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of Year 12, or mature age entry
- Sufficient current or previous work experience in the Health and/or Community Services industry
- Interview and literacy assessment
- Successful applicants will undergo a police check
