Course Overview

The Certificate III in Media offers two streams of study - website design and development, or sound and audio.

Website stream

A career in Multimedia can combine creative skills and computer technology to build quality web sites in this course from GippsTAFE.
You'll create quality websites, develop web site assets and animations, video and audio components as well as taking digital photos, creating banners and web galleries.

On completion of the course, you can pursue a stimulating career by undertaking further study or seek entry-level employment in assisting with web development or multimedia production.

Sound and audio stream

Got a passion for music and would like to be involved in the radio broadcasting area or technical production?  Now you can turn that passion into a career with this nationally recognised qualification from GippsTAFE.You will learn in our purpose built training facility, complete with recording and radio studio, and keyboard laboratory. 

This course is suitable for performers as well as aspiring technicians.  It is ideally suited to those wanting a traineeship in a recording study, or other entry-level positions within the production side of the industry.
