Course Overview
This course is designed for people who wish to enter the workforce in an event co-ordination role. Events coordinators plan and organise special events, such as parties, wedding receptions, product launches, banquets, meetings, conferences and conventions.
The Certificate III in Events is a practical course that will prepare you for a role as a conference, event or meeting coordinator. It focuses on developing skills in customer service, event coordination and promotion. It will also give you a general overview of the tourism industry as well as a background in basic finance, tourism knowledge, working with colleagues and customers.
