Course Overview

This course will develop your management ability and enable you to acquire the knowledge and skills required to manage a small retail outlet or a department in a large retail store.

You'll learn about merchandise and store presentation, recruiting personnel, leading teams and controlling inventory.

Working in retail offers job progression and the chance to work in many different environments from food to fashion, audio to automotive.

Entry Requirements

  • Successful completion of Certificate III in Retail Operations or two years full time experience in the retail industry.

Assessment is competency based and includes practical demonstrations, projects, group discussions, documents/folios, case studies, reports and presentations.
