This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts in the film, television, radio, and digital media industries.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate IV in Screen and Media.

Entry Requirements

Animation and Digital Effects stream:
Entry to the course is via direct application to the institute. VCE or VCAL with subjects in related disciplines or Certificate III In a relevant qualification. An interview must be undertaken by the candidate where they showcase their previous digital media output, (e.g. flash animation website construction digital video production etc).

A good level of computer literacy is essential and creative disciplines such as visual communications and studio art skills are an advantage.

Entry to the course is via direct application to the institute. VCE or VCAL with subjects in related disciplines or Certificate III In a relevant qualification. An interview must be undertaken by the candidate.
