    Course Overview

    With creativity and drive, your career in the decorating industry can range from a general painter and decorator to a special effects painter, estimator or even owner of your own business.

    This course will give you the skills you need for entry-level employment as a painter and decorator. You'll get experience across a range of activities such as using power tools, preparing surfaces, spray painting and paper hanging. It's also a stepping stone to gaining an apprenticeship and trade accreditation which will give you even more career choices.

    Qualifications And Recognition

    Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate II in Building and Construction (Painting and Decorating) (Pre-apprenticeship).
