Course Overview

This course is designed for currently employed and registered Enrolled Nurses. It provides the skills and knowledge required for enrolled Nurses to administer and monitor medications and evaluate their effectiveness for clients within a health environment.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.

Entry Requirements

Anatomy & Physiology Competency Level - All applicants for this course must complete an A&P challenge test.  
 
Literacy & Numeracy Requirement - All applicants must sit a VETASSESS numeracy & literacy test - these are booked directly with VETASSESS (www.vetassess.com.au).

Pre-Requisites

Currently Enrolled Nurse with NMBA.  Please contact Cathrine at Warragul Campus for further details.
All successful applicants must have a current police check at the commencement of the course.

Assessment

Assessment will comprise of a combination of practical, written assessments and a clinical placement of 76 hours duration.

Specialist Course Information

Successful completion of this course will enable application for the removal of notation on the NMBA register.

Can prospective students enrol in individual units?

No.
