Course Overview

Like creating beautiful and inspiring places?

This course will develop the skills you need to gain employment as an assistant interior designer.

You'll learn about the style and aesthetics of domestic interiors while you experiment with furnishings, fabric, artwork and colour to turn your own creative concepts into reality.

This course includes practical placement time so you can build industry contacts and gain valuable real-world experience.

You may enrol in individual units.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate IV in Interior Decoration.

Entry Requirements

To undertake this course you must:

  • have completed VCE or equivalent or be a mature age student
  • attend an interview and present a folio of recent art work that demonstrated evidence of basic competence in imaging techniques and the use of a variety of materials, with an emphasis on drawing skills
