Course Overview
This course is aimed at providing students with the skills and abilities required to meet the needs of the horticulture industry. Elective units make up the substantive course content and will develop the specific skills required to undertake many vital functions required by people employed in this industry.This course develops and enhances the skills and knowledge to enable youto work independently or at a supervisory or managerial level, or to run your own business in the sector of the horticulture industry in which you have chose to specialise.
Qualifications And Recognition

Horticulturist at a managerial level in the amenity horticulture industry, horticulture enterprise manager or business manager in the parks and gardens, landscaping, turf, nursery, arboriculture and floriculture industries, depending on units completed.Entry Requirements
Year 12 or equivalent or qualify for mature-age entry, holder of a relevant qualification at a lower level, in which an interview would take place to make sure that you are able to enter this course.Pre-Requisites
