Course Overview

Looking to undertake your apprenticeship in a supportive environment? Want to learn from knowledgeable teachers with plenty of real-world experience? Then enrol at GippsTAFE.

You'll advance your landscaping skills by learning how to collect, analyse and organise information, solve problems and use relevant technology. And you'll increase your planting, irrigation and garden features knowledge and techniques.  This course is designed to give you trade skills for your employment as an apprentice landscaper.  You will learn to safely handle and use industry specific tools and equipment and will also be provided with training across a range of tasks including landscape design, plant selection, retaining wall construction, paving, planting and more.

Entry Requirements

  • Currently apprenticed to an employer in the horticultural industry. Before commencement of training an agreement must be signed between the employer, apprentice and GippsTAFE.
