Course Overview

This one day workshop is suitable for volunteers in a health related facility or carers of people who have swallowing difficulties. The program will provide you with an understanding of the mechanics and the disorders of swallowing, techniques to make meal time more enjoyable and, most importantly, safe. Tips for appropriate food and drink preparation will also be included.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.
