Course Overview
Like solving problems? Good with maths? Then a career in engineering may be for you!Engineers use scientific knowledge and technology to solve problems and create practical solutions in all aspects of everyday life. As well as being a pathway into further study such as a degree, this qualification will open up opportunities in the mechanical, drafting and engineering industries.
This course will develop your abilities in the mechanical and manufacturing sectors of the engineering industry and prepare you for work in drafting companies and engineering workshops. You'll train under expert staff to develop skills that are readily applicable to the workplace.
As well as the core units, you choose a specialist stream such as applied mechanics or fluid power so you can tailor the course to your own interests or career goals.
You may also enrol in individual units.
Qualifications And Recognition
