I came to GippsTAFE because I had heard it offered a great Tourism program. I wanted to study locally and expand on my existing qualifications in Outdoor Recreation.

I made the decision to study both tourism and hospitality as the two go hand in hand. Now I have a really strong set of qualifications that will help me secure a career in an industry I am passionate about.

My experience at GippsTAFE has been amazing. The teachers are a wealth of knowledge, there are plenty chances to get real hands-on experience and it has offered me some really great opportunities.

My confidence has gone through the roof since I started at GippsTAFE.

One component of my course was a 3 week industry placement with a company that offers outdoor adventure activity programs. That company has now offered me a full-time position and I'm really excited about my future in the industry.
