If you like hands on experience and not just sitting in a classroom then TAFE is for you. GippsTAFE courses cover the theory as well as providing the practical training I need to do my job.

Through my course I have developed skills in areas including nail care, eyelash and brow tinting, waxing, make-up application and reflexology. Studying at GippsTAFE meant I was able to gain a traineeship at a local beauty therapy practice and it has given me the confidence to perform the tasks required of me. 

It is a lot of work but you are given the time and support you need to grow and perfect your skills before you go out into the workforce. GippsTAFE offered the course I wanted, in a location that was within easy travelling distance. It’s a welcoming environment and I’ve met a lot of new friends along the way.
