Certificate III in Hairdresssing

I always knew I wanted to study at TAFE. I chose GippsTAFE because it was local and offered the course I needed to begin my career. It was perfect for me.

Completing the Certificate II in Hairdressing was the first step. It gave me a taste of the industry and by the time I finished I really knew that this was what I wanted to do.
Certificate III gave me the opportunity to get some practical experience working in a salon two days a week. In the end the salon offered me an apprenticeship which I was so excited to accept!

The hands-on experience I get now through my apprenticeship and my training at GippsTAFE really help me to prepare for the career ahead of me in the hairdressing industry.
