Diploma of Nursing
Successful completion of this course will enable registration as an Enrolled Nurse with NMBA. Applications are now available for this course which will commence at Warragul in February and GEP Churchill in April 2011. Warragul Applications close on October 28th 2010.
Certificate IV in Health Science Foundations
Successful completion of this course can provide a pathway for applicants to access either the Diploma of Nursing at GippsTAFE or the Bachelor of Nursing Practice at Monash University Gippsland. Diploma of Nursing
GippsTAFE invites applications from currently enrolled nurses (Division 2) who wish to upskill and upgrade to the national qualification Diploma of Nursing, via a combination of RPL and gap training.
Medical Endorsement for RN2 Nurses
Expressions of interest now being sought for this course to commence in early 2011. Pre-requisites include an Anatomy and Physiology challenge test and VETASSESS literacy and numeracy test.
Develop and Apply Knowledge of Human Biology
Are you a currently enrolled nurse looking to update your Anatomy and Physiology skills? This Certificate IV in Health Science Foundation unit could be for you. This course will commence at the Warragul Campus in October.

Dual Diploma of Sustainability - Excellerate Model (4 Units, Evening Workshops)
Sustainability is a critical agenda item for government, business and the not-for-profit sector. The Diploma of Sustainability provides a consistent and systematic framework for the development and application of sustainable practices.
Applicable for participants from a diverse range of organisations, this Diploma is quickly becoming the benchmark for employers and government to recruit for key roles in the 'green economy'.
This course is one of the Excellerate series, which recognises your existing skills and knowledge, and allows you to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in an accelerated timeframe - all without taking time off work.
The program is suitable for people who currently hold or are studying a Diploma or higher level qualification and wish to build sustainability into their skill set.
Each session is structured around topics and activities designed to internalise planning, analysis and application of sustainability concepts.
This program focuses upon:
• Applying sustainability concepts to a major challenge
• Implementing a program of behavioural change
• Developing a sustainable business plan
• Analysis of long term sustainable production and consumption outcomes
